Also, more than 150 year 10 students volunteered, worked hard marshalling and supporting St David’s Hospice Care from 7 am. We received many positive comments from St David’s and Newport residents:-
“ When many of them set out at 7:30 it would have still been raining and very cold but they brought the sunshine with them and made everyone smile. They are an absolute credit to the school and their community and I wish them all the best in their baccalaureate, great bunch of kids that clapped and cheered every single runner. “
“The students were fantastic! We were blown away by their enthusiasm and helpfulness.”
We’re very proud of all the staff, students and support from the local community. It was a very proud day for St Julian’s!
