The Governors with the Headteacher have the responsibility for the overall strategic direction of the school. The Governing body includes Governors appointed by the Local Authority, Community, Staff and Parents.

St Julian's School Governing body consists of voting and  non-voting members and provides guidance on all matters relating to the school.

Full Governing Body meetings take place once a term with the AGM being held in July.

Governors receive presentations in advance of the Sub Committee meetings from staff on topical issues.
