St Julians School

Estyn

The school had its last full school inspection in 2014. The report celebrated many aspects of school life such as student support and behaviour; however, there were concerns raised in the report that, in comparison to other schools, results at KS3 and KS4 were a cause for concern as the rate of progress in improving results has not been at the rate of other similar schools.

The school’s current performance | ADEQUATE

The school’s prospects for improvement | ADEQUATE

I hope that you will be able to take some time to read through the entire report.  Estyn use the word adequate when they feel “strengths outweigh areas for improvement.”

The team acknowledged many strengths in our daily practice but also identified some key areas where we need to improve.
